A lot of people are crazy about summer. They love the sunny skies, long sunny days, sandy beaches. But all of them DON’T like the mosquitoes.
For some, this isn’t too big of a deal, as mosquito repellent has been on the market since 1956.
If you want to stop smelling like the burnt remains of a chemical plant after using repellent, and also you are scared of the adverse effects of DEET in sprays and are more prone to getting bit, then you should take Vitamin B1. It could be your saving grace.
Vitamin B1 or also known as thiamine, is an essential vitamin your body needs. You can find it in foods such as yeast, oatmeal, brown rice, asparagus, kale, liver and eggs and it is important in fighting stress and boosting immunity.
Vitamin B1 is one of the water-soluble vitamins so that any excess your body does not process gets flushed out of your body with your urine. And, there no reason to worry about taking this vitamin too much!
Do you ask yourself how does it keep mosquitoes at bay?The answer is- It changes your smell! You become very unappealing to the mosquitoes because you smell a little “yeasty” and that smell, it turns out, is their kryptonite. But, don’t worry! No one else will notice.
We share with you one natural recipe. There is no harm in trying, especially since it’s all natural and has no side effects.
