Chair-bound 78-year-old grandmother changed her life and can now dead-lift 225 lbs

 

In this article we will share with you a story of 78-year-old Shirley Webb. She is a woman who couldn’t get out of her chair without a fight. Also, she found herself forced to hold onto the handrail every time she went up or down the steps and it was ruining her quality of life.

One day she realized that she have to make a change in her life and she decide to start working out.

She said: “When I go to the gym and work out, when I leave, I feel so much better than I did when I went in, and I just feel so good. I feel tremendous,”

Her regiment includes oscillating between lifting 200-pound weights and mowing the lawn. The intense cardio and sunlight has her breaking records. She has currently set the Illinois record for lifting 200+lb in weight and age groups.
